This warming mat is fantastic! Great for everyday meals or for entertaining, fully functional. Has 9 heating settings 6 timer settings as well as a child lock. Nice large mat, holds a good amount of pots or dishes. Mat heats up quickly and very easily adjustable. Love that you can set it on a timer for a specific period of time. This mat is extremely easily to use, very user friendly. Easy to wipe down and clean. Silicone mat has raised feet on the bottom to keep it cool on the bottom, to allow top to stay hot. Also live how this mat rolls up compactly, to easily store. The buttoned silicone strap to keep it rolled is a great add. I think this is a fabulous quality and a definitely an asset to have.

I ordered the Electric Food Warming Mat with Temperature Controls and18H Auto Power Off, Full Surface Heat and Rolls up for Easy Transportation and Storage by PAWCUB. I was really impressed with how well this functioned for family gatherings over all the holidays, it heated up quickly and kept all my dishes nice and warm through everyone’s seconds and thirds. So easy to wipe clean. Fantastic, quality heating matt. So much better than the old fashioned stiff coiled heat tray I had in my garage that I was able to donate. This takes up much less space. Great item, so easy.

The mat is 22 & 7/8” long and 15 & ¼” wide. The power cord plugs into the end of the mat and will need at least 2” of clearance making the total length of counter space required 24 & 7/8”The power cord is almost 6 foot long.Operation is very simple, press the power button, then use the + and – buttons to set the temperature. The mat has 9 temperature settings: 104, 122, 140, 158, 176, 194, 212, 230, & 248.It regulates temperature by switching the current on and off. When the mat is on and actively heating, it draws 400 watts. Once it reaches the temperature set point it switches the current off and on as needed.To test the mat, I set it to 194 degrees, then I heated 3 cups of water in a 10” pan to a boil, put a lid on it and set it on the mat. After 45 minutes, the water in the pan was 135 degrees.Then I raised the mat setting to 248 degrees and did the same test- 3 cups of boiling water in a 10” pan with a lid. After 45 minutes the water temperature was 150 degrees.This silicone mat is light weight, soft and flexible, easy to wipe clean, and easy to roll up and store. This will keep things warm during meal prep and serving. Exactly what I needed.

It heats surprisingly quickly and displays the temperature as it heats up until it reportedly reaches the set maximum.It serves its purpose as a warming mat very well, with only one small issue that cost it a star. The surface does not appear to reach the maximum set temperature of 248°F. I let it run for about 10 to 12 minutes—it only took a few minutes to reportedly reach the maximum temperature of 248°F—but according to my surface temperature reader, the highest surface temperature I recorded was just over 190°F.The heating coils are designed to run in loops, which means not all parts of the surface heat evenly. I measured varying temperatures across the mat, with the highest around 190°F and most areas between 170°F and 180°F, likely in spots not directly above the coils.Perhaps a longer test is needed, and maybe with more time, the surface might reach the claimed 248°F. However, the built-in thermometer is misleading because it gives the impression that it’s measuring the surface temperature, not the temperature of the internal coils or some other element.It’s worth noting that I selected this model because it advertised a higher maximum temperature than many others I considered.Another positive is that the floor beneath the mat, while it did warm slightly, did not get hot. This suggests you can likely place it on most surfaces without worrying about burn danger. That said, my test was relatively short (10 to 12 minutes), so longer operation at full heat might yield different results regarding how much heat transfers to the surface below.Bottom line: It’s a nice warming mat that’s easy to use and heats up quickly. While it doesn’t quite reach the maximum claimed surface temperature, it still meets my needs and serves its purpose very well.
